reliquatory:

I’ve just noticed that I’ve never posted any Inaisce here.

In the beginning, The Reliquatory was more heavily rooted in Dolly Kei, so maybe it didn’t feel quite right at the time. But now, never having shared it feels like a gross misdemeanor.

This is one of my favorite collections of all time.

baby loki vs. BAMF loki

This is such a glorious example of costume showing character. The basic cut of the clothes and the decoration is the same, but the silhouette is completely different - Avengers!Loki looks much wider, thanks to the cut of his coat and the armor underneath it. They’ve changed the contrasting colors on his coat from the shoulders to the lapels, which draws attention to the chest piece. The armor is heavier, more like it’s actually there to protect him than for decoration, but it’s the same bias web pattern that leaves him flexible. And at the same time, the metal pieces have more decoration on them. In Thor, he looks young; in Avengers, he looks ancient, like a being from another universe who will fuck your shit up and doesn’t need a reason.

monstrousreg: #i keep saying #the costumes in this movie are AMAZING #it kills me that it probably won’t get any recognition.

Same. I love Loki’s costume especially, and so much thought was clearly put into it.

sweetbabybucky:

I’m tired of people saying that Black Widow’s suit in the film is impractical, thus it’s only there to make her look sexy, so let’s take a look at her suit and Clint’s suit side by side.

As you can see, it’s the same general make. Tight-fitting to promote agility, dark colours to aid stealth, and made to accommodate their personal weapons of choice. The material looks rather similar in both, so I’m assuming the suits give them the same amount of protection.

If we’re going by some sort of exposure factor, Clint’s suit is much more revealing. He’s got a lot more skin showing.

The only difference I’m seeing here is that Natasha has breasts and Clint doesn’t.

So basically, when people call Natasha a slut/skank based on the “flimsy” suit that she’s wearing but see no fault in the fact that Clint is wearing what looks to be very similar materials, all I’m hearing is, “She has boobs, so she must be a slut/skank.”

In short, get the fuck out of my fandom.

Loki’s wardrobe appreciation.

That’s 4 outfits already, and we’re still missing the one he wore to Jotunheim ( light travel armour) and his suits.

Seriously the best armour/costume in the film. It looks stylish and awesome on so many levels.

My thought process while scrolling upward:

“Oh, that’s an awesome shot of the boots. Reblogging for boots.”

“I love the diamond-armor detailing. And the way they cut the coat to swirl. Reblogging for armor and swirling.”

“……….oh my dear sweet fucking lord.” *reblogs for smirk before dying*
